EXAMPLES OF DUTIES PERFORMED:
This list of duties is not exhaustive and duties may be added, deleted, or changed at any time, without notice.
Sell KMCI-TV advertising time directly to businesses and advertising agencies.
Develop new business by prospecting new accounts and calling on existing businesses, etc.
Negotiate rates and ratings.
Prepare and present marketing proposals utilizing qualitative and quantitative research.
Perform client service, including but not limited to avail presentation, package development, creative writing, credit applications, collection, etc.
Perform other duties as directed by sales management.
Requirements:
EDUCATION - College degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE - Media advertising sales background preferred.
EQUIPMENT - Must have automobile in good running condition. Must have working knowledge of personal computers.
License/Certificate - Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
SKILLS/ABILITIES - Individual must be self-motivated, a problem solver and creative. Individual should possess good communication skills, basic math skills and the ability to make professional presentations to individuals and groups.
